Autumn is approaching here in Klagenfurt (see pictures) and we would like to use the opportunity to introduce you to the ACM MMSys Dataset Track. In particular, ACM MMSys encourages the use of common datasets for experimentation leading to reproducible research. As an integral part of the conference since 2012, the Dataset Track provides an opportunity for researchers and practitioners to make their work available and citable. Authors publishing datasets will benefit by increasing the public awareness of their effort in collecting the datasets.
Accepted dataset papers are presented orally during MMSys and archived both at the UMassTraceRepository and QUALINET Databases.
The Call for Datasets is available here including all the necessary details with the important dates as follows:
- Submission deadline: February 5, 2016
- Acceptance notification: March 23, 2016
- Camera ready deadline: April 8, 2016
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to send an email to the dataset chair Karel Fliegel or contact us directly.
